Here’s a neat household gadget. Whilst we are on the theme of robotic animals and such here’s another from the electronics jungle.

This wireless Parrot Doorbell is perfect for those that like to surprise friends or confuse the local neighbourhood cats! Easily installed it has 6 seconds of recordable memory for a personal message or it can playback birdcalls. The actual parrot acts as a transmitter and runs on 1 AAA battery whilst the receiver, which has a range of 15 metres, requires 3 AA batteries.
